I did It!

It worked out extremely well for me on the GOGO weekend. My short game, meaning chips was excellent overall...my putting was mixed, the middle irons down to a 4 were very good. The shortest irons were good to me as well. Driving? Well, not so good, but I did hit a couple of bombs down the fairway. I found myself jumping at the ball and pulling it left. All in all I was pleased with 9 hole rounds of 44, 49, 50,52,45...Sunday we started off in the heavy fog unable to see the greens/flagstick from 60 yards out. We played 3 holes like that and the rain came through and washed away the fog and we played the balance of 18 at full length.
The resort was called Pocono Manor Golf Resort in Pocono Manor PA. Service was pretty good, nice amenities and good food on the package deal. The Poconos are having difficulty with a nasty catepillar that is stripping the trees of their green foiliage. Looking at some of the trees lining the course it sometimes looked as if we were playing in November!
